No news

Tuesday came and went and I never recieved my much anticipated phone call from Memphis regarding my citizenship application. Although it isn't too surprising, it is disappointing. We will keep you updated once we really do find out any new information. Thanks for your prayers.

Memphis trip update

Thanks to all of you who prayed for me during my trip to Memphis. I had a good conversation with the immigration officer and she seemed very interested in all the details. For some reason, my whole immigration file has been in Nairobi at the US emabassy for over a year and the Memphis office is having a hard time getting it back. The officer I spoke with was going to attempt to email the US embassy in Nairobi one more time and then she was going to consult her supervisor to recomend that they move on to make the final decision on my case without the file. She took down my number and told me she will call me on Tuesday next week to let me know how they will proceed. There is an "oath ceremony" scheduled for this part of Tennessee for the middle of December and we are praying that Memphis will make a decision on my case before that time so that I can finally become a citizen! Anyway, thanks again for your prayers.

In other news, Abbie had an ultrasound on Tues and we found out that we are having a girl!!! Abbie has been feeling well and we are very thankful and blessed.

Corn Maze

We had a chance to walk through a corn maze with the kids. They had fun but I think it made them a bit crazy!

November 08 Prayer Card

Just in case you were wondering, we are still in the US. We have
not heard any further from US Immigration but we are thankful
that our support level has been steadily increasing! Thanks so
much for all of the great responses to our last letter. We now lack
just $850 /month in regular support and $4,000 toward our
vehicle fund. Speaking of things which are increasing, we recently
found out that our family is also on the increase! Abbie is due
with number 5 in mid April! We still hope to be back in Kenya as
soon as we can and would plan to deliver the baby there. For this
to happen, we are looking into tickets for early January. In the
mean time, we patiently and earnestly wait for the Lord’s timing
in all of this. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and
words of encouragement.
God Bless,
Reini, Abbie & family
